In 1967, after the wreckage of the tanker Torrey Canyon, the Le Floch company launched into oil spill response. Over the years, and in light of the increasing oil spills around the world, this activity has developed considerably and, in 1998, led to the creation of Le Floch Dépollution, the LFP Group's initial company.

Indeed, in 2003, the SAS LFP holding was created to bring together the skills and know-how of innovative small and large companies in the environmental field in order to form a homogeneous and coherent group, in keeping with the company's strategic vision. Thus was born the LFP Group.

Today the LFP Group represents thirty companies, located on three continents and forty client countries outside of Europe. A group adapted to the complexity of environmental issues that are constantly working to offer tomorrow's solutions.
